1. Cost of entry is $55AUD to be paid in full, prior to the commencement of Opening Round (6th March 2025).

2. All tips must be lodged in one of the following ways: (a) by phone, including SMS (b) in person (c) by email (see below for details). Selections for ALL GAMES must be lodged by no later than the stated time for each round on the weekly tipping sheets (refer to tipping sheet, also check the weekly report for details). Tips may also be lodged in advance for future rounds. If tips are not entered correctly - e.g. no selections made or form partially filled in or not completed correctly - the entry may be subject to being invalid. Tips deemed invalid shall be allocated the the Home named team. No correspondence will be entered into. One point will be awarded for each winning team correctly tipped.

3. No points are awarded for a drawn game.

4. Administrators of the competition who are also participating in the competition will be required to make their selections available for viewing at closing time. Immediate relatives (spouse and children) of the administrator(s) taking part will also be subject to this condition. All such tips will be made available for viewing on this website (refer admin. tips menu).

5. The administrators shall not derive a profit from the competition.

6. All administrative costs incurred will be borne by the competition.

7. The 2025 Football Tipping Competition will officially commence on Thursday, 27th February 2025, entrants may begin to lodge their tips. Entry into the competition will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, 6th March 2025.

8. Should a prize remain where there is no winner, the money allocated to that prize will be redirected to one or more other categories at the discretion of the administrator.

9. A weekly round by round report will be available covering results and other details on the competition. Entrants are encouraged to check the website News page Blogs as well as the last sections the weekly round report for updates. Reports covering other categories will also be published see Prizes page for details. All of these reports will be made available on the website for perusal and printing along with other material concerning the competition.

10. The weekly tips of the competition leaders will be displayed for the last 4 rounds (21-24) on this website, after the closing time of each round.

Place a heavy line through the team you think will lose the game.

Selecting the Highest / Lowest score

Pick one of your winning/losing teams that you think will kick the highest/lowest score (total points) for the round (goals + behinds = total points) and enter your prediction opposite that team in the column marked ‘Hi / Lo’. Only one prediction is permitted.

Winning Margin prediction

The Winning Margin game is the unshaded square under the column marked ‘WM’. Enter your prediction in points in this square.

‘Tough One' prediction

Each week the weekly report will indicate the game designated as ‘The Tough One’. When you have selected your winner enter your prediction of winning margin in points in the square opposite both teams and in the column marked ‘TO’.
