Round -3 Are we seeing some clubs set the standard after three rounds?

You could almost ignore the 2024 form of some clubs at this early stage, however don't discount them totally.

After 3 rounds you might just look at tipping these teams each week for a win.

• Hawthorn 4 wins, in excellent form, unbackable when playing in Tassie and they never give in.

• Adelaide 3 wins, have made a powerful statement early, look strong around the ground especially up forward and strong at home.

• Brisbane 3 wins struggled in a couple but they have good credentials. Last 2 wins they came from behind and can only get better.

• The Suns were expected to improve in 2025 and have won 2 games, finally winning one at the MCG.

• The Giants 2 wins started very well then hit the Hawks in Tassie. Learnt from the loss, expect them to do better.

• Collingwood, St Kilda and The Western Bulldogs each with 2 wins. They struggled somewhat but managed to grind out wins.

As for the remaining teams we wait to see what they can deliver in coming rounds. There is every likelihood that we will see upset results along the way, how does one pick that, by pure luck I guess.
